Nicoleta Sirbu is a 22-year-old pianist from Republic of Moldova. She began her studies at the "Ciprian Porumbescu" Republican High School of Music in Chisinau, in the class of Prof. Larisa Jar - Master of Arts, who gave her the opportunity to study by the Russian piano school.
Since 2020, she has been studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria, in the class of Professor Libor Novacek and since 2022, in the class of Professor Eike Straub.
So far, Nicoleta has participated in numerous national and international competitions, some of them being:

Grand Prix at the International Competition of Young Performers "Eugen Coca" - Moldova
First Prize at the International Competition "Remember Enescu" - Romania

First Prize at the International Competition "SIRMIUM MUSIC FEST" - Serbia;
First Prize at the Young Pianists Competition "Ignacy Jan Paderewski" – Moldova;
Second Prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di San Dona di Piave" - Italy;
Second Prize at the International Piano Competition "Carles & Sofia" – Spain;
Second Prize at the International Piano Competition "Gustav Mahler" - Czech Republic;
Second Prize at the International Music Competition “France Music Competition”
Third Prize at the International Music Competition - France;
Nicoleta has also participated in various Masterclasses in Croatia, Romania, Austria and Republic of Moldova with teachers from all over the world, such as Milana Chernyavska - Germany/Ukraine; Alexandr Paley - USA/France, Ludmila Kasjanenko - Ukraine/Poland, Ioana Stănescu - Romania, Diana Dava Barb - Romania, Sergei Kovalenko - Republic of Moldova/Portugal, Anna Ulaieva - Austria/Ukraine, Zoltan Füzessery – Hungary/Austria, Stefan Chaplikov - Bulgaria.
The young pianist is enjoying a brilliant start of her career, performing with the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Moldova, the Orchestra of the Chisinau Opera and Ballet Theater, the Tiraspol Symphony Orchestra, the Wind Symphonic Orchestra of KUG, and in solo concerts in Moldova, Romania, Austria, Italy, Croatia, and Serbia.
