The Bortniansky Quartet was created from the soloists of the Academic Chamber Choir of Chernihiv, Ukraine. During its activity, the group performed in the following cities: Paris, Le Mans, Mulhouse (France), Zurich, Chur, Basel, Gerisau, Poschiavo, Châtel-Saint-Denis (Switzerland), Mont (Belgium), Svebyule (Denmark), Mannheim, Landau (Germany).
The repertoire of the quartet includes Orthodox spiritual music, arrangements of Ukrainian folk songs, and classical music.
