Irene Ninno, Italian pianist and composer, was born in Puglia on 8 October 1992. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance at the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatory of Bari with Prof. Pasquale Iannone, a Master’s Degree at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, and completed her studies at the Ecole Normale Cortot in Paris. Alongside piano studies, she also studied Composition, Orchestra Conducting, Chamber Music (Master's degree with Prof. Roberto Galletto at the "Santa Cecilia" Conservatory), Interpretation of Contemporary Music (Postgraduate Degree at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome), Musicology at the Sorbonne University in Paris and the Roma Tre University. She has perfected her piano training with internationally renowned teachers such as Pavel Gililov, Lilya Zilberstein, Michel Beroff, Paul Badura Skoda, Francois Joel Thiollier, Aldo Ciccolini, Benedetto Lupo and Vincent Scalera. 
Winner of several  international competitions, she carries out an intense international concert activity, mainly as a soloist, which has led her to perform with great success in the main cities of Europe. She gave concerts at the Salle Cortot and the Americaine Chathedral (Association George V) in Paris, at St Olave Hart Street and St George the Martyr in London; in Edinburgh for the "Afternoon Concert Series"at St Giles Cathedral  and for the "Edimburgh Society of Musicians"; in Leon (Spain) for the Fundacion Eutherpe; in Rome at the Auditorium Parco della Musica for the Musica per Roma Association, at the Torlonia Theater for the Primavera in Musica season 2022, at Pamphili Palace for the Vatican, for the Dal Colosseo ai Sassi Association, for the festival Roman Nights at the Theater of Marcellus, for the Musicopaideia Association, for the Terraforma Association at the Macro Museum, for the Festival of Nations at Baldini Hall;  for the Concerts Seasons of House of Music and Cultures in Velletri (Rome); for "Larius International Piano Festival" in Lecco;  for Piano City Pordenone 2022 at "Loredan Porcia" Palace; in Bologna for "Mazzacorati" Theater and for "San Giacomo Festival"; in Milan for the "Note in Volo Festival" in Malpensa and for "Piano City Milano" editions 2018 and 2023; in Naples  for "Piano City Napoli 2019" at the monumental complex of San Domenico Maggiore; for the Liszt Association in Grottammare (Ascoli Piceno), for the “Naturalmente Pianoforte” Music Festival 2018 and 2022 in Pratovecchio (Tuscany); in Bari for the “EurOrchestra da camera di Bari” Association, for the “Aldo Moro” University and for the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatory; in Barletta for the Italian Federation of Women Arts Professions, for the Circolo Unione Association, for the A. Casardi  Lyceum, for the "Barletta Classic Music Festival" at Della Marra Palace; in Margherita di Savoia at the Aldo Moro Hall for UniTre, in Trani at Beltrani Palace for the "Ivo Scaringi" Foundation and for the Gaber Association, in Corato Municipal Theater for the Kronos Piano Festival, in Andria for the Carlo Troya Lyceum. 
As a soloist with orchestra, she collaborated with the Suoni del Sud Orchestra performing the Concerto No.4 in G major op. 58 of L.v. Beethoven, with the Clichy Orchestra (Paris) with the Piano Concerto No. 1 in B flat minor op. 23 by P. I. Tchaikovsky and with the Metropolitan Orchestra of Barcelona performing music by Roberto Laborda at Palazzo Pamphili (Embassy of Brazil) in Rome for the canonization of Saint Irma Dulce.
Irene is an eclectic musician with various interests: she collaborates with directors and theater companies for incidental music, she is the author of numerous musicological articles and she is the artistic director of the Kronos Piano Festival 2019 in Corato (Bari) and of the international classical music festival Ligature (Andria). She collaborates with the "Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia" in Rome as a pianist, accompanist and assistant. 
She conducts a passionate and appreciated teaching activity in various Academies and Conservatories (Italian Academy of Music and Art in Rome, Vienna Premier Music Academy in Vienna, etc..), with excellent results demonstrated by the numerous prizes won by her students in international competitions.
