Alessandra Toni is an Italian pianist, composer, and performer of neoclassical and crossover music. Born in Milan, she is currently based in Vienna, Austria. Her artistic journey has been defined by a deep-rooted passion for music that transcends genres, weaving together elements of new age and cinematic compositions. Alessandra’s music showcases her unique blend of melodic beauty, emotional depth, and captivating storytelling.

She embarked on her musical odyssey in her early childhood and studied at the prestigious G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to understand the intricate nuances of the human mind, Alessandra also dedicated herself to the academic journey alongside her musical pursuits. She is a Ph.D. in foreign languages, obtained a master’s degree in psychology and neuroscience and she is a psychodynamic psychotherapist in-training, conducting research in the field of music.

 

In May 2023, Alessandra Toni signed a contract with the record label INRI Classic, which currently distributes her debut album “The Best Chapter” through the Universal Music Group. Her musical project was released on 19.01.2024 and recorded at the Bösendorfer Salon (Musikverein) in Vienna, home of the prestigious piano brand of the same name (with whom she cooperates), where she also performed for the album release.

Moreover, Alessandra Toni has been invited to play at festivals such as “Piano City” and “Milano Music Week”, performing throughout Europe, including other international venues like “Hannersarholt” in Reykiavik (Iceland) and in the United Arab Emirates. Indeed, she played a few times in Dubai, as well as at the “Theatre of Digital Art,” in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the piano brand “Bösendorfer”.

Every composition is a compelling speech of emotions that transcend words. The opening notes often serve as an introduction, akin to an attention-grabbing opening statement in a speech. She employs dynamics and articulations to highlight key moments within her music, like a sudden shift from soft to loud or a delicate staccato passage. Each piano piece tells a different story, inviting the listeners on a journey of emotions. Alessandra’s ability to harness the power of music to convey meaning, evoke emotions, and tell stories is a testament to her remarkable artistry and the transformative potential of her piano keys.
