Samuele Tacchini is an Italian pianist
currently based in Antwerp. He began his
academic journey at the “Agostino Steffani”
Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto,
where he graduated with highest honours
in Piano Performance under the guidance of
M° Giovanni Umberto Battel. He then
moved to Belgium, where he graduated
cum laude at the Royal Conservatoire of
Antwerp, under the guidance of Roberto
Giordano and Eliane Rodrigues. Throughout
his development, Samuele has enriched his
training by attending numerous
masterclasses and advanced courses with
internationally renowned artists, including
Filippo Gamba, Marco Ciampi, Enrico
Pace,Pavel Kolesnikov, Diana Kettler. He is
actively taking part in several international
piano competitions and has earned awards
and recognition, such as the third prize at
the “Vienna International Piano
Competition”, and a laureate position in the
second edition of the “Artepiano Piano Competition” in Rome. He also received
awards at the “San Donà International Piano Competition”, the “Gloria Artis Music
Competition” in Vienna, and the “Ischia Piano Competition”. Samuele’s concert
activity has brought him to perform in various festivals and concert series in Europe.
He has appeared, among the others, at the “Opus74” concert season in Flaine
(France), at the Auditorium Eric et Sylvie Boissonnas, at the “Giovani Concertisti”
festival in Treviso, the “Concerti d’Autunno” series in Preganziol, the “Summertime”
festival in Castelfranco Veneto, the “Concerti nel Borgo” series in Borgo Valbelluna.
He has performed in different Venues in Antwerp and Bruxelles. Upcoming
engagements include a solo recital in León, Spain, as part of the concert season
hosted by the Fundación Eutherpe, as well as a four-hands performance with pianist
Luca Faldelli in Terni, Italy, for the “Opera in Canto” festival. Also engaged with
contemporary music, he has worked with the NECST Ensemble, the contemporary
music collective of the Steffani Conservatory, and performed at the contemPLAY
Festival in Vilnius, Lithuania. His collaboration with composer Theo Koita has led to
the recording of works such as Piano Sonorities and Drame Bathypelagique. He has
also participated in interdisciplinary and crossover projects, including the Maisha
Project, which blends classical and contemporary musical languages. As a chamber
musician, Samuele has performed in duo with violinist Edoardo Brandi and pianist Li
Zihao. He also collaborates regularly with soprano Phaedra Pribilla in the Pribilla–
Tacchini Duo. Together, they performed as young artists at KlaraBox in Brussels, a
side event of the Klarafestival. In addition to his performing career, Samuele has
taught piano at the “Musica d’Arte” music association in Preganziol and at the
“Francesco Sandi” Music School in Feltre, maintaining passionate commitment to
music education, and is now offering lessons privately in Antwerp.
