Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid
Lecce - Conservatorio Tito Schipa
Roma - Conservatorio Santa Cecilia

Gianfranco Granata (Piano)

Gianfranco Granata was born in Sava (TA), Italy, and graduated in piano from

the Tito Schipa Conservatory in Lecce. He furthered his musical studies in

Rome under Lya De Barberiis and completed three years of advanced

training with Aldo Ciccolini. For about five years, he was president of ACEM

(Associazione Culturale E. Majorana). Throughout his extensive career as a

teacher and performer, he often collaborated with other musicians.

He founded AIMA (Italian Academy of Music and Art) to continue and expand

the work initiated with ACEM at a secondary school in Rome. This project

was recognised and awarded in 1997 at the Public Administration Annual

Forum as part of the "One Hundred Projects for Public Service Improvement"

competition organized by the Ministry of Public Administration.

As President and Artistic Director of ACEM, he organised and promoted

around 80 musical performances, including some theatrical ones. He

continued his work as Artistic Director at AIMA, producing numerous concerts

in various venues and concert halls throughout Rome.

He also curated the artistic direction of a concert featuring the symphony

orchestra from the Rock Council High School in Philadelphia (USA), which

chose AIMA as the organiser for a concert in Rome during its tour in Italy. In

addition to his concert activities, he leads the AIMA Music School, which has

achieved standards of excellence at the national level. He continuously

balances his roles as Artistic Director, piano teacher, and concert pianist.

Ece Koyuncu (Flute)

Ece Koyuncu is a highly versatile and dedicated flautist with over 15 years of

musical experience spanning Turkey, Spain, and Italy. Born in Ankara, Turkey,

to a family of musicians — her mother a pianist and her father a music

educator — Ece was drawn to music from an early age, ultimately choosing

the flute as her instrument of focus over the family tradition of the piano.

She graduated from Hacettepe University in Ankara and continued her

studies abroad at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, where she studied

with Franz Albanese and Deborah Kruzansky. Through her Master’s

programme, she had the opportunity to study abroad again on an Erasmus

exchange at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, where she spent a

year studying under notable mentors such as Vicente Martinez Lopez and

Manuel Rodriguez. She also attended masterclasses with internationally

renowned flautists, including James Galway, Andrea Oliva, Bülent Evcil, and

Christian Plouveir. She was involved in recording Beethoven's 7th Symphony,

performed by the Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Professionally, alongside her work as a private instructor, Ece dedicates

herself to solo performances, chamber music, and orchestral concerts. She

has performed in various concert halls and churches, such as the Auditorium

Parco della Musica, Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, Basilica

Sant’Agnese fuori le Mura, Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli, the VaticanGardens, and the Accademia Hall of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory.

During her studies, Ece also participated in international concerts as both first

and second flute. Among these, she performed as the principal flute in 12

concerts across various cities in France at the Eurochestries Festival and, as

part of the Greek-Turkish young musicians’ gathering, performed across

Greece and Turkey. Recently, she joined the orchestra of the Italian artist

Alessandro Siani, accompanying him on his Italian tour and performing in

renowned theatres, including Teatro Politeama Greco in Lecce, Nuovo Teatro

Verdi in Brindisi, Teatro Orfeo in Taranto, and Teatro Metropolitan in Catania.
