Paola Rios, cellist
25-year-old Venezuelan cellist began her studies at the age of age 9 in the Venezuelan Orchestra. In
2015, she moved to Barcelona, Spain, where she received her master's degree in cello performance at
the Conservatorio de Cello Liceu with teachers Luis Claret and Oscar Alabau. She has participated in the
orchestras of Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona, Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya and
Camerata Internacional de Barcelona. In Camerata Internacional de Barcelona, working with teachers
such as Antoni Ros Marba, Josep Pons and others. She has also received master classes from prominent
cellists such as William Molina, Louise Hopkins, Gary Hoffman and others.
